- Begin Establishment with aerification, soil nutrition, overseed
- Apply starter fertilizer 7-10 days after seeding
- Winterizer (applied 4 weeks after starter)
STEP 2 Maintenance
Mid February
- Feed the turf and prevent summer weeds with first application or pre-emergant
- Spray brodaleaf weeds as needed
STEP 3 Maintenance
Early April
- Apply second feeding of fertilizer with pre-emergant
- Consider application of season long grub control
STEP 4 Maintenance
May
- Prepare turf for summer stress with calcium based fertilizer Consider fungicide to prevent brown patch
- Spot spray weeds as needed
STEP 5 Maintenance
July
- Continue feeding turf with low nitrogen organic based fertilizer
